When I first met Alexa, I could see complete joy spilling out of her-she is so in love with Dakota and it's so evident. Dakota is so nice and so completely in love with his future bride. I am so beyond thankful for my couples this year and I get teary eyed thinking about what a sweet + beautiful future they all have.
Hanging out with Brieanne and Ben last fall and getting to take their photos was awesome. They are both so sweet and genuinely interested in getting to know people and I loved that about them. This shoot has been one of my favorite engagement shoots for a while-I just can't stop posting photos of these two. When two people are crazy about each other, you can tell.
I've been so behind blogging our 2016 weddings, so this is a start. The Hedge wedding was absolutely beautiful-from Chloe's dress, the incredible flowers, her bridesmaids, and beautiful decor, the list could go on. I loved shooting this wedding for so many reasons. Chloe's mother, Kerri Kanning was one of the first people to notice my blog and the fact that I loved to take photos and tell stories. Kerri went to be with the Lord before Chloe and Jake got married but I have no doubt that she was looking down-all smiles that day. Chloe carries so much of her mother with her and it was an honor to capture her wedding last summer.

Seth and Krystin were nothing but smiles on their wedding day. It didn't matter if something went wrong, they were marrying each other and that's what mattered to them. Their first look was one for the books and so was their wedding day. I'm so thankful for these two and that they trusted me to capture their wedding day.

When our friends said, "We want to elope and we want you to photograph it." I think I jumped up and down (on the inside) a little bit. Jer and Rhianna have been our friends for a couple years now, and I knew that whatever they chose to do for their wedding, it would be deep and meaningful-every part of it. Jerimiah flew in two of Rhianna's closest friends (as a surprise) so they could stand next to her on her wedding day. This wedding and this couple are so close to my heart.
Also, the officiant was smokin' hot ;)
