When couples are as adventurous as Nick and Kate, you photograph them in the mountains. These two were up for anything and were totally fine with the wind and all the elements that came with their engagement shoot. I can't wait to shoot their wedding this summer!
You know how you meet those people who just glow? That's Emily and Justin. From the moment we started talking, it was so evident how in love they were/are. The way they talk to each other, the way he makes her laugh, and the way they look at one another-you can't walk into a room and not know they are crazy in love. Not to mention, they are two of the sweetest and easiest people to be around. I loved this shoot and I love this couple!
I've known Amanda for 5 years now-she just keeps getting better. When we met, we worked at a coffee shop together and she and Parker didn't have kids yet. When she had her first baby (Ezra) I'm pretty sure she worked right up to her due date and never complained about any of it. Once she had Ezra, she took him everywhere-of all the years I have known Amanda, I've loved how genuine, honest, and hard-working she is. She cares about those she loves so much and I learn about motherhood just from watching her with her boys. Every time I get to photograph this family, I'm thankful.
Time goes so fast and most days, I wish it would slow down for a bit. Last February, my husband and I had the honor of shooting Chris and Carolee's wedding in Hawaii and it was nothing short of amazing. Seeing two people so absolutely in love and crazy about each other is one of my favorite things, and getting to capture it is even better. This year, seeing their beautiful family grow is equally as beautiful as getting to capture their wedding. I'm so grateful that they have allowed us to capture some of the most sacred and beautiful spaces in their lives. I absolutely adore this family and I know Aurora Mae will be one of the most loved little girls the world has ever seen.
When I first met Alexa, I could see complete joy spilling out of her-she is so in love with Dakota and it's so evident. Dakota is so nice and so completely in love with his future bride. I am so beyond thankful for my couples this year and I get teary eyed thinking about what a sweet + beautiful future they all have.
Hanging out with Brieanne and Ben last fall and getting to take their photos was awesome. They are both so sweet and genuinely interested in getting to know people and I loved that about them. This shoot has been one of my favorite engagement shoots for a while-I just can't stop posting photos of these two. When two people are crazy about each other, you can tell.
Seth and Krystin were nothing but smiles on their wedding day. It didn't matter if something went wrong, they were marrying each other and that's what mattered to them. Their first look was one for the books and so was their wedding day. I'm so thankful for these two and that they trusted me to capture their wedding day.

When our friends said, "We want to elope and we want you to photograph it." I think I jumped up and down (on the inside) a little bit. Jer and Rhianna have been our friends for a couple years now, and I knew that whatever they chose to do for their wedding, it would be deep and meaningful-every part of it. Jerimiah flew in two of Rhianna's closest friends (as a surprise) so they could stand next to her on her wedding day. This wedding and this couple are so close to my heart.
Also, the officiant was smokin' hot ;)
